![]() ![]() I have not tested to determine if they both always display the same result or what the difference might be. Note that there are two XGauge codes for HVB temp. Hybrid Battery Temperature (Degrees Fahrenheit) It's very interesting to see how Ford programmed the car to manage the battery SOC to prolong its life. I think I have it set right for my 07 6.0L as far as regular codes. Click here and here to see the full details of my observations. 1 12-13-2013, 01:20 PM hoshi Junior User Thread Starter Join Date: Feb 2013 Location: Minot ND Posts: 75 Likes: 0 Received 0 Likes on 0 Posts Scangauge X codes to run What are the best codes to run in my new Scangauge2. I further tested his observations and plotted a regression equation in Excel. ![]() Any thought on this?īTW, the SoC code reflects the level of charge that the C-Max battery icon shows. So this backs up what I read about Hybrids not using the full capacity of the batteries. So it uses just over 38% of its capacity. If I do my math right that would mean that the C-Max Hybrid keeps its battery charge between 31.5% and 69.7%. This is pretty close to linear, with each 1% on SoC = 0.38 on SOC. So I decided to purchase one of the Scan Gauge II code. I have been running both gauges simultaneously on my ScanGauge for a few days and this is what I have found: Im a little bit of a number geek and like to know what is going on with certain things all the time. ![]() In other words, it doesn't charge it to 100% and discharge it to 0%. I have read where to extend the life of batteries, hybrids don't use all the capacity of their batteries. I believe that SOC code displays the actual state of charge for the battery and the SoC code displays "useful" charge. * Compact Size - just 4.8"W x 1.I have purposely made the name (NAM:) different on both for clarity. * Today, Yesterday and Tank Trip data automatically saved The ScanGauge website also provides the following codes for 'Transmission Gear ratio', which I also have tried with no reading on the gauge. * Up to 10 user commands can be stored and recalled Non-Volatile memory: (stored information is not lost when disconnected) * Manual power-up with delayed power-down via HOME key * Automatic power-up when engine is started * Automatic delayed power-down after engine shutoff * Big display - 50% larger than the original ScanGauge * 7 Standard screen colors and a custom setting with 63 possible colors. * A HOME key to quickly return to the start screen * User settable update rate (Slow, Normal and Fast) * Make and store up to 10 rewritable special codes * Tells you when vehicle is "Ready" to pass OBDII testing * Reads conditions that set the Trouble Code You can also turn off the “Check Engine” light and avoid those costly trips to the mechanic. SCAN TOOL: The ScanGaugeII allows you to troubleshoot your own car, read error codes, and the conditions present when the error occurred. TRIP COMPUTER:Automatically tracks four sets of trip data - Each with 11 individually stored parameters. * Manifold Pressure (not available on some vehicles) the information is presented in Real-time! Having said that the code comes back pretty quick after so it might be a. Also the code clears but the light doesnt go out. Talked to Cummins and they could only suggest I take it to a Cummins dealer, which I will, probably in Vegas. Some 2004 - 2007 GM vehicle use the CANSF protocol, while all 2008 and newer GM vehicles use the CANSF protocol. Got my scangauge to check out the check engine light code on my ISC350 CAPS. ![]() The user interface is intuitive and easy to quickly navigate and the LED screen color can be easily changed to match your mood.ĭIGITAL GAUGES: Display 4 gauges at a time from the 12 built-in digital gauges. These XGauge codes apply to any GM vehicle that uses the CANSF protocol. Once plugged in the ScanGauge pulls a host of info from the computer. The ScanGauge II plugs into the OBD port on all current MINI models with the included cable which is then routed to the selected mounting location under toggles, next to steering wheel using a Cravenspeed mount, or just about any other location you can think of. While it will not remind you to go the bathroom, it will give you all sorts of other cool info. Okay, hopefully you're sitting down for this one as this product is sort of a swiss army knife of widgets for your MINI (or just about any other car!!) You may find that with just little guy you will have just about all of the info you will need to keep tabs on your MINI. ![]()
